DE | NO TRAVEL AGENCY ist eine interaktive Multimedia Performance von Simon Weckert und Gloria Gammer. An der Koordinate 0'0', auch Null Island genannt, häufen sich alle verlorgen gegangenen Daten - Daten, bei denen die korrekte Zuordnung ihrer GPS Koordinate fehl geschlagen ist. Scrollt man durch die Fotos auf Flickr, betrachtet man die Daten auf Strava, sucht man nach einem Airbnb auf Null Island, so zeichnet sich das Bild einer fiktiven Gesellschaft. Die Performance NO TRAVEL AGENCY reist mit den Teilnehmenden an diesen Ort, zu dieser vermeintlichen Gesellschaft, die sich qua Daten erzählt und adressiert kritische Fragen der Verarbeitung von Ortungsdaten.

EN | PNO TRAVEL AGENCY is an interactive multimedia performance by Simon Weckert and Gloria Gammer. At the coordinate 0'0', also known as Null Island, all lost data accumulates—data for which the correct assignment of its GPS coordinate has failed. If you scroll through the photos on Flickr, look at the data on Strava, or search for an Airbnb on Null Island, a picture of a fictional society emerges. The performance NO TRAVEL AGENCY takes the participants to this place, to this supposed society that defines itself through data, and addresses critical questions regarding the processing of location data.
